Hi, I have created a Transaction code variant for SU01 using SHD0 tcode, once executing the transaction variant I am able to see only display button, but after displaying the user I can able to edit all the tabs, so what is the use of SDH0 here If I can edit after displaying the user..is this not works in such scenarios... please let me know...Thank you..

    1. Dear Hari,

      Let me tell you that SHD0 is not meant to restrict the authorization but only to hide the unwanted buttons when it is not possible to restrict the access using objects. For password reset activity 05 is used and this activity also let us lock and unlock user and hence SHD0 is best to be used when it is not possible to control access via auth object values. Hope this helps.
